I hope that you are all still enjoying the summer holidays and are getting ready for a busy year ahead. All information about induction and registration fees is included below.

TY Induction will take place on September 1st from 9:30 – 12:00. All students are to come to school in full uniform with their school TY journal and schoolbag. Students will receive their timetable for the year ahead and be given important information about the structure of the year, work experience, the school trip and more. This day will also include some team building activities. Lessons will begin on September 2nd.

The Transition Year course fee is €200 to be paid in the school office on 18th August between 10:00 – 12:00. The administration fee of €30 is also payable on the day along with the €10 journal fee, as per all students attending OLM.

The course fee covers the overnight team bonding trip, state recognized awards, significant learning experiences, speakers, technical assistance for the TY show, external tuition charges on the planned programme, books, workbooks and booklets. The fee is not intended to cover the cost of luas or bus tickets. This is a once off payment and you should not expect to pay any further monies during the year unless your son/daughter avails of optional extras. Optional extras are timetabled out of the curriculum and so will not be a required part of the course unless your son/daughter chooses to take part in them.
