Mr Cronin and Class Enda enjoyed a leisurely stroll from OLM into the Irish Aid Centre off Harcourt Street on Wednesday 7th October.
At the Irish Aid Centre, Class Enda took part in a workshop on development and Ireland’s role in fighting global poverty and hunger.
Our students learned about the realities of life in rural African communities and about how Ireland is taking a leadership role in the fight against hunger.
The students have been learning about the global community in Mr. Cronin’s development education module and we hope the students gained some further insight and awareness from the Irish Aid workshop.
