Ms Keane’s TY maths class visited the national concert hall on Friday 16th October for Maths Week 2015. Eugenia Cheng a maths lecturer from Chicago brought together Maths, Music and Baking in an extraordinary show. The students thoroughly enjoyed the trip and it allowed them to see Maths in the wider world and recognise the Maths that is all around them. This complements the TY Maths syllabus as the students will be beginning a Maths Eyes Project in Session 2 of the TY year which centres around recognising Maths in the real world.
